Many Voice over IP (VoIP) systems are these days available for larger organisations that recognise the on-going cost savings they provide. However, these solutions are expensive to purchase, install and configure, and their deployment means the disposal of an existing PBX. With the Tina family of products this is not the case: TinaPilot has been developed with the smaller establishment in mind, and will integrate with an existing PBX, hence protecting any previous investment that's been made in an analogue telephone system.

Furthermore, as TinaPilot has been developed by Equiinet, the full functionality of the ‘Pilot' range of products has been integrated into the appliance.

TinaPilot uses highly integrated converged technologies together with sophisticated Quality of Service (QoS), and implements the blueprint for the next generation integrated appliance - Telephony Integrated Network Architecture (TINA).
