URL Content Filtering Powered by Secure Computing

As the most efficient and cost-effective means of distributing eLearning content is via the Internet, filtering of accessible websites is also vital.

Once URL content filtering is enabled, the CachePilot will check against the world's biggest database of URLs (many million). These URLs are divided into 94 different categories. The CachePilot administrator can define a profile for each individual user or group of users as to which URL categories are allowed or blocked.

Typically porn, bomb making, drug abuse, devil worship and many other highly undesirable sites would be blocked, whilst leaving enough access to allow the Internet to be used as a superb research and education tool.
