We run 3 different training courses for CachePilot, according to your level of expertise and requirements:
These courses normally take place at Equiinet's training centre in Swindon.
However, we can undertake on-site courses at your premises at extra cost, as long as you can provide appropriate equipment and training facilities - and you work with us to ensure a successful course can be mounted.

CachePilot Administrators Course - CP-Admin
Intended for : Installers, Integrators or LEA level staff who have full access rights to install, configure any and all elements of the CachePilot.
Type of Training : Instructor lead

CachePilot Site Administrators Course - CP-SiteAdmin
Intended for : In-school ICT coordinators or technically aware teachers who need the intermediate level 'Site Administrators' access to the product, to modify and control the CachePilot in their school.

Intended for : In-school ICT coordinators or teachers who need a quick overview of Caching and Content Distribution and desire only access to the initial Teacher (CacheAdmin) commands

CachePilot On-Site Courses
Intended for : LEAs who want to train their staff, in school IT administrators, or teachers
Type of Training : Instructor lead
Undertaken by : Equiinet
Price : By individual quotation. A flat fee daily rate is charged for the setup and execution of the course. Multiple courses (depending on type) can be delivered in one day.
Duration : As above
Typically our instructor works with one of your technical staff the afternoon prior to the training session to setup and test all equipment.
Maximum attendees per session is usually restricted to 10 - to ensure everyone gets hands-on experience during lab sessions.
On the training day itself, the maximum number of sessions that can be run are:
- CachePilot Administrators Course - CP-Admin
- 1 Session per day - CachePilot Site Administrators Course - CP-SiteAdmin
- 2 Sessions per day - CachePilot Site Administrators Course - CP-Teacher
- 4 Sessions per day
Prerequisites
To run a successful on site course you need to provide :
- An appropriate training room
- Sufficient PCs, cables hubs etc
- Internet access
- Appropriate numbers of IP addresses
- Proxy and DNS information
- Access through any firewalls
