What phones are supported?

We offer Equiinet branded phones and can support a wide range of phones from Polycom to Yealink. You can order these phones with one of our account managers and when delivered, they will be pre-configured for each Equiinet user on your account. Can I keep my existing phone number?

In most cases, yes. We can generally port your phone number to Equiinet services within 30 business days or less. You will experience uninterrupted service during the porting period.

Can I switch my current toll-free number to Equiinet?

Yes, porting your toll free number to Equiinet may take up to 30 business days, but it will be completed without any service interruptions.

Can I have professionally recorded greetings?

Yes, you can record any greeting and upload it to your account as a .wav file at any time.

Do you offer conferencing options?

Yes, every extension comes with 3-way calling included. A conference bridge for up to 300 callers is also available.

Can I forward calls to my mobile device?

Yes, our service will allow you to forward calls to your mobile device or any other phone number.

Does Equiinet provide a voicemail service?

Yes! In addition to regular voicemail, any phone message left for you by a caller can be immediately delivered to your email account as an audio file.

How do I check my voicemail?

With Equiinet’s hybrid phone system, you have several options for how you can check your voicemail and messages: Directly from your handset phone. Calling in remotely and entering your PIN. Email though voicemail-to-email.

Do you support 911 emergency services?

Yes, as an Equiinet customer you have access to 911 emergency service calls.

What does it cost to make and receive long distance calls?

We offer some of the most competitive rates in the industry for international calls. Local and long distance calls are unlimited to Equiinet customers.

What is VoIP?

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is a phone call via an internet connection versus the traditional phone line.

What is failover?

Yes, you can record any Failover is a service that will automatically take over as your internet connection in the case of a network failure. and upload it to your account as a .wav file at any time.

What is auto attendant?

Auto attendant is automated secretary. The service initially answers your phone calls, uses options inputted from the caller to decide what phone to transfer the call to.

What is follow me?

Follow me is the feature that gives you the ability to work remotely. Phone calls that you receive in your office will be forwarded to a phone of your choice. The calls you get will automatically follow you where ever you need?
