Q: What are the key things to be aware of ?
A: Your choice of NetPilot model and Internet connectivity type (and therefore throughput) must be considered together - they need to be properly combined to provide the right cost/performance solution.
Q: My application is for 20 or 30 PCs should I go straight for ADSL ?
A: If it is available in your area, then this can be a good solution. NetPilot customers report very variable Internet response rates - which is all down to who you are sharing the ADSL infrastructure with (20 to 50 other companies could be throttling your performance!).
Q: Is modem connectivity a good idea for my NetPilot ?
A: Modem connectivity is fine for home use, its not a sensible option for business use. So for most applications - no, it's definitely not the best solution.
Q: What are the absolute connectivity limits for each NetPilot model ?
A: There are no user licenses or number of user restrictions hard coded into any NetPilot. However the maximum (or even sensible practical limits) concerning number of connected PCs on any NetPilot model depend on the actual NetPilot model, the number of simultaneous users, the load that each active user is placing on the NetPilot, the applications environment and the speed of the link connecting connecting the unit to the Internet.
