Unified Threat Management
SecurePilot reduces complexity and protects users from multiple internally and externally generated threats by combining multiple protection measures into a single appliance. To provide complete piece of mind SecurePilot comes bundled the standard Unified Threat Management pack. The UTM - Standard Protection pack includes advanced firewall, intrusion detection and prevention systems.
The intrusion detection system detects attacks or looks for behavior on the network that is unusual or against acceptable use policies. It also provides an audit trail to show how the attack occurred, from where and how far it went. Once something unusual has been detected, the intrusion prevention system can be configured to automatically communicate with the SecurePilot advanced firewall to block potential future exploits.
Optional UTM items include the UTM Anti-Virus : Anti-virus scanning for HTTP browsing and/or email.
The Optional UTM - URL filtering option provides best of breed content filtering capabilities, and offers a complete control of all browsing activities. This service can be profiled for individual users or user groups, ensuring porn and all other undesirable content is blocked.
